Performance and Technical Specifications
Faber claims this chimney provides a suction power of 1500 cubic meters per hour, powered by a 130-watt motor. A key technical highlight is the use of a BLDC motor, which the manufacturer states contributes to its operation. The system includes nine different speed settings, allowing users to adjust airflow based on their cooking needs while maintaining a stated noise level of 58dB.
Design and Filtration System
This appliance utilizes a filterless design, which eliminates the need for traditional filters that require frequent cleaning. Instead, it incorporates a built-in oil collector to manage grease accumulation. The T-shape structure serves as a wall-mounted unit, and the overall construction weighs approximately 13.4 kilograms, with dimensions measuring 90 centimeters in width and approximately 41 to 49 centimeters in height.

Control and Ease of Use
For daily operations, the chimney offers both touch control and gesture control via an integrated motion sensor. These features allow users to turn the device on or off and switch between its nine available speed levels without physical contact. Additionally, the unit includes an LED lamp to illuminate the workspace beneath the hood during cooking sessions.
Installation Flexibility
The Faber Coral is versatile regarding installation requirements, as it is compatible with both ducted and ductless setups. For those opting for a ductless configuration, charcoal filters are required. Prospective buyers are advised to contact Faber customer support for specific guidance on how to configure the unit for their individual home ventilation layout.

Intended Audience and Suitability
This chimney is intended for homeowners seeking a high-capacity ventilation solution for larger kitchen setups featuring four to six burners. Given its touchless gesture technology and filterless maintenance approach, it is well-suited for individuals who prioritize convenience and cleanliness in their kitchen environment. Its robust suction capacity makes it appropriate for Indian cooking styles where smoke and oil are frequent byproducts.
Noted Limitations and Drawbacks
While the chimney includes advanced features, users should be aware that it requires professional handling for installation, especially when choosing between ducted and ductless modes. Although the filterless design reduces maintenance, the built-in oil collector will still require periodic attention from the user. Furthermore, the reliance on digital sensors for gesture control implies that users must ensure the sensor area remains unobstructed for consistent performance.
