Performance and Suction Power
With an impressive suction capacity of 1500 m³/hr, this chimney is engineered to handle heavy-duty Indian cooking, including tasks that involve frying and grilling. According to the manufacturer, it is perfectly suited for kitchen areas up to 200 square feet, effectively keeping the environment free from smoke, heat, and persistent cooking odors.
Advanced Motor Technology
At the heart of the unit is an energy-efficient 180W BLDC motor. This motor is designed to generate less noise during operation, maintaining a maximum noise level of 58 dB, while ensuring long-term durability. It also includes an aeration function that operates the chimney at a very low speed to help keep the kitchen air feeling fresh even when not actively venting high levels of smoke.

Filterless Maintenance
The unit employs filterless technology, which eliminates the need for managing clogged filters or dealing with messy oil residue. Maintenance is simplified through a removable oil collector tray. Additionally, the integrated Intelliclean function automates the maintenance cycle by triggering an automatic cleaning process every 15 hours of usage when the device is in standby mode.
Control and Accessibility
For ease of use, the chimney incorporates motion-sensing technology for touchless operation, which is highly convenient while cooking. Users can also utilize the standard touch sensor controls, which are paired with a digital display. These allow for simple management of the extraction speeds, lighting, and the activation of the auto-clean cycle.

Intended Audience and Installation
This model is ideal for home cooks who frequently use large stoves and desire a low-maintenance, high-power ventilation solution. Proper installation is critical, as the manufacturer recommends a specific 76 cm installation height between the cooktop and the chimney to ensure both safety and the best possible extraction performance.
Drawbacks and Considerations
While the suction power is a major advantage, prospective buyers should note that the unit requires a ducted or vented installation, which may not be feasible in all kitchen layouts. Additionally, users must be diligent about maintaining the required clearance height for safety, and the performance relies on the correct installation to prevent gaps in efficiency.

Warranty and Reliability
Glen offers a 2-year comprehensive warranty on the product, providing peace of mind to the consumer. Furthermore, there is a significant 15-year warranty on the BLDC motor, which reinforces the manufacturer's commitment to the durability of this core component. Customers should ensure they keep their invoices to claim these warranty services effectively.
