Sophisticated Design and Construction
The KAFF 60cm curved chimney, model KEC 60A, brings a modern aesthetic to the kitchen with its premium black tempered glass finish. The curved glass design not only contributes to a sleek look but is also built to resist heat during heavy cooking sessions. With dimensions measuring 49 cm deep, 60 cm wide, and 53.8 cm high, this wall-mounted canopy hood is specifically sized to provide effective smoke coverage for cooktops and stoves ranging from two to four burners.

High-Performance Suction Capabilities
Kaff Appliances claims this model offers a powerful suction capacity of up to 1450 m³/hr. This high airflow is designed to efficiently clear smoke, grease, steam, and intense cooking odours, making it an appropriate choice for those who frequently perform heavy Indian cooking tasks like deep frying, grilling, or preparing tadka. Despite this significant power, the unit operates at a noise level of 58 decibels.
Advanced Filterless Technology
A notable feature of the KEC 60A is its filterless design, which eliminates the need for traditional mesh or baffle filters. This design choice aims to provide consistently strong suction power while simplifying the maintenance process for the homeowner. By removing the physical barrier of a filter, the unit focuses on direct airflow efficiency.

Maintenance Made Simple
Maintenance is further streamlined by the Dry Heat Auto Clean function. With a one-touch command, the system uses heat to melt accumulated grease, which then drains into a removable oil collector. This feature is intended to reduce the effort required for manual cleaning, helping users maintain the chimney's performance over time without frequent deep-cleaning sessions.
Intuitive Control Features
The chimney is equipped with a thermostatic touch panel that allows for easy operation. Additionally, it features 3-speed gesture motion controls, enabling hands-free adjustments. This is particularly useful in a kitchen environment where users may have wet or greasy hands. Energy-saving LED lights are also integrated into the design to provide bright illumination over the cooktop area.

Complete Installation Support
The product arrives as a comprehensive package, including the kitchen chimney itself along with essential installation components. Customers receive an exhaust duct pipe, a wall mounting bracket, and necessary screws, alongside the user manual. This makes the initial setup process straightforward, as the core requirements for wall-mounted installation are provided in the box.
Warranty and Reliability
KAFF provides a two-year comprehensive product warranty, which covers the unit under normal usage conditions. Additionally, the manufacturer offers a significant 10-year warranty on the motor, reflecting a commitment to the durability of the core suction component. This extended motor warranty provides long-term peace of mind regarding the mechanical longevity of the appliance.

Intended Audience and Limitations
This appliance is ideally suited for home cooks who manage small-to-medium-sized kitchen setups with 2 to 4 burners and who desire an automated cleaning solution to minimize maintenance. However, potential buyers should note that this is a ducted ventilation system, which requires an external vent. While the filterless design is convenient, the ongoing reliance on the oil collector requires users to monitor and empty it periodically to prevent overflow.
